An Study On EPC Project Management Of Ground Construction In Changqing Oilfield Company

EPC (design, purchase, construction) project management model is gradually developed akind of project contract and management model. In recent years，EPC general contactingmode have advantages in:construction project less investment, less time, better quality, lowerentry cost and less irsk, so this mode has gradually been accepted by the client of projectconstruction. Petroleum engineeirng industry’s share of the EPC project management patternhas also been growing. For Changqing Oilfield ground construction, design, mateiralprocurement, and construction are separated rfom each other, existing contradictions ofdisconnect, wrangling and mutual restirction. Under the background of enterpirse rapiddevelopment, exploring the project management model which is fit for Changqing oilfieldground construction will be of great significance for enhancing oil-gas field groundconstruction project management level, speeding up oil-gas ifeld ground construction, keepingthe development path of low cost and intensive.Taking EPC total project contract model as key research contents, based on an oilifeldenterpirse ground project management development perspective, combined with projectmanagement, EPC project management model basic theoires, etc, according to the curerntdevelopment of petrochemical project EPC total project contract of our country and itsapplication examples, this paper analyses the problems of petrochemical project of our countryEPC total project contract model from two aspects of external environment and ent’erprisesinternal environment. Combined with the characteirstic of Changqing oilifeld groundconstruction project and project management development process in this area; this papersummairzes the major problems in Changqing oilifeld ground construction projectmanagement objectively, and on this basis, by comprehensive analyses the necessity andapplicability of implementation of EPC project management mode for Changqing oilifeld，itoffers some specific methods, procedures and elements for establishing Changqing oilfieldEPC project management mode. At last this paper puts forward the advice on how EPC projectmanagement mode of Changqing oilfield ground construction project run effectively. Thisresearch will be of some guidance significance to Changqing oilfield ground construction project management mode and accumulates certain experience for upstream of Petrochinaenterpirse implementation of EPC.
