The Study Of EPC General Contract Management Mode Leaded By Professional Design Institutes

The EPC model is a new mode of general contracting projects in the international project contracting market, it is also a Contracts mode which being strong promote in the country by The Construction Department. With the matured of domestic EPC general contracting market, a growing number of professional industrial design institute has begun to enter the field of general contracting works. How to develop and strengthen the core effect of Design Institutes in the EPC projects is becoming an important research subject, this thesis combined with engineering practice for a more in-depth discussion.First, this thesis recalls the definition, characteristics, origins of EPC contract mode, the problem of EPC mode that arose in practice and the reasons for analysis, through compare and analysis the difference between the EPC mode and the traditional mode, we can propose that the establishment of a EPC general contract mode based on professional design institutes is the fundamental way to Large-scale construction enterprises. On this basis, I envisage the EPC general contract mode based on professional design institutes, and connecting with the construct process, I introduce the building steps of the EPC general contract mode based on professional design institutes. In order to guide the implementation of the EPC mode better, the thesis also offer proposals for the EPC general contract enterprises to establish the project management system. Finally, I adopt the method of case analysis to analysis NEPDI's reform, expound the actual working way of EPC mode to relevant professional model enterprises for reference.In short, this thesis chooses the study of EPC general contract mode based on professional design institutes as the starting point and end-result, through the theoretical analysis and practical tests, concluding that the reform professional design institute to EPC enterprise is necessary and inevitable, through the theoretical analysis and content study of EPC mode, I pointed out that in order to build the EPC mode depend on professional design institute, assist on some of the big construction companies, we should heighten ideological awareness first, not only aware of this change is good to construction enterprise reform in our country, but also helps improve our productivity and competitiveness, and more conducive to international practice. Secondly, the design units should adjust the organizational structure, and a series of reforms to have EPC-based engineering company's policy conditions. Finally, it should be set specialized management and technical personnel in order to have the talent and technical reserve forces.
