Research On Design Management Model In Electric Power Design Institute

As China power enterprise restructuring progressed, the internal competition in survey and design of electric power industry is changing to increasingly intense, and gradually transforming into management, mentality and structure competition. This paper analysis existing problems in power design management enterprises using related theories, when combining with status of China power design enterprise, and thus in reference of other power design enterprises experiences in developed countries; gives main direction of transform in design companies from company and project levels; gives customer and competitors analysis, and SWOT analysis based on statuses of Beijing power Design Institute; develops development strategy combined with the actual of Beijing power Design Institute; suggests that Beijing power Design Institute should optimize organization structure and implement horizontal organization, and proposes specific organization structure model; suggests that Beijing power Design Institute should take the mode combined strategy control and operations control, and implements process management in operations control; in project lqvel, this paper suggests to optimize project internal management, and gives specific recommendations in aspects of organization structure, management mechanism, project plans, project control, and project incentive. This paper combines theories and practices, and have certain significance to management changes in electric power Design Institute.
