Examination Of Agricultural Insurance In Corn Main Producing Areas Of Jilin

Jilin Province is an important com main producing area, and Com is also the crop with the largest output in China. Affected by many objective factors, to a certain extent, the development o f agricultural insurance is lagging behind the development o f its needs. Thus, the study o f agricultural insurance in Jilin Province has prominent representation, which will help people to understand and learn the status of development and advanced experience o f such insurance in China and the world,hinders the advance o f agricultural production and the improvement o f farmers’ living standard.In this thesis, based on the literature survey o f agricultural insurance in China and from the abroad, and the status o f agricultural insurance o f the com main producing areas in Jilin Province, by using the combination o f theory, practice, case studies and other methods, the current constraint factors and problems existed in the area, especially in Siping, Changchun, Jilin, and Liaoyuan are analyzed. And the countermeasures on the development o f agricultural insurance in that area are put forth to achieve benefits o f all the parties concerned. The study may help the administration to make decisions to achieve sustainable development, increase the farmers’ ability to withstand risks and increase revenue, etc.
