Research On Application Of Six Sigma In A Company

Six Sigma is a systematic, integrated business improvement methodology, also is a management power.which can achieve complete customer satisfaction, and enhance the competitiveness of enterprises through eliminating the process defects and worthlessness operations.In recent years, with the rapid development of the market economy, customers have higher demand for products quality, and the demand becomes diversified. The enterprises are facing increasingly fierce competition. In particular, the introduction of international trade barriers make huge impact on China’s labor-intensive manufacturing industry, which decline the international competitiveness of companies. In this context, the introduction of Six Sigma management by improving product quality, reduce production costs and improve customer satisfaction to enhance the competitiveness of enterprises is necessary.This paper first elaborated the theory of Six Sigma,including the meaning of Six Sigma, implementation, and the comparison with lean theory and ISO9000. Secondly, the author analysis basic situation and the problem encountered in production of A company, and then introduced the Six Sigma management in A’s application and implementation. Finally, based on the evaluation of the effect of Six Sigma implementation, we point out deficiencies that exist in the application process and make improvements. I believe this study can provide some experience and inspiration for the future implementation of Six Sigma in electrolytic capacitor business management.
