Research On The Application Study Of Lean Six Sigma System In Foxconn Company

Management is a very popular Operation Management theory during the beginning of year 2000, and also is the core concept and theory tool of Integration of lean manufacturing, lean thinking and Six Sigma management. This thesis selected Foxconn Production System (FPS) from the World 500 company, Foxcoon Group, as the research target which is developed by The process of implementation of lean six sigma theory and based on it.Foxconn has major three systems, which included the major concepts of Quality management, production theory, and Supply Chain. This thesis discussed this three major topic development. The concept of value chain system by Michael Porter and Model Supply chain system with logistic management to extend to lean six sigma management for customer satisfaction and details of internal operation management, also to the cooperation between customer and supplier, management strategy with relationship management. That achieves the lowest cost or fast response of value chain, and finally win-win situation for customer, enterprise, and supplier.This article used FPS of IP PHONE of A business team of network communication business group of Foxconn as the example, introduced core concept with operation method, real application theory with accounting tools, and gradual improvement. For improve customer satisfaction, supplier profit, and enterprise efficiency as goal how to improve quality, efficiency, and value chain.
