With the presentation of the thesis “Science and technology are primary productive forces” and the dramatic development of China’s economy in recent thirty years, China’s enterprises attach greater importance to knowledge and knowledge workers gradually and many enterprises try to attract, motivate and retain the knowledge workers and treat such methods as the foundation of consolidation and development. An enterprise shall establish a set of scientific, reasonable and systematic talent management and motivation system so as to improve the development environment of knowledge workers and encourage their independent innovation and aggression; otherwise, the enterprise will not make development or have future.The thesis treats the operation management personnel, product development personnel and market sales personnel of HBP, these three kinds of knowledge workers as the research object, integrates the theory with practice in terms of the problems existing in the aspect of HBP’s incentive system, and construct HBP’s incentive system in the compensation incentive, working incentive, personal growth/development and emotion incentive, these four aspects in terms of the typical analysis characteristics through the research and analysis for all kinds of international and domestic incentive theory. The thesis emphasizes that the construction of knowledge worker incentive system proposal shall comply with China’s actual conditions, carry out overall incentives, and pays attention to the spiritual incentive and emotion incentive as well as material incentive; attach importance to the long-term incentive as well as the short-term incentive; make incentive measures according to the actual local and personal situations, and make development and innovation continuously. An enterprise shall establish a set of incentive mechanism based on its characteristics and actual situations, so it can achieve the effective incentive on its staff.Based on the investigation and analysis for the existing problems of HBP’s incentive system, the thesis adopts the system analysis method, comprehensive theory analysis method, literature and case special research method, investigation and sampling analysis method, comparison and analogy method, integration of theory and practice and such methods, analyzing the prominent problems in HBP’s incentive system literally; meanwhile, take into account the practicability and operability of the thesis and try to design a set of professional comprehensive incentive solutions for HBP. The structural frame of the thesis is as below:Chapter One: Introduction. Introduce the research purpose and significance of the thesis and confirm the research content, method and structure plan.Chapter Two: Elaborate the incentive theory and research achievements whether in China or other lands, in ancient times or today, reference the typical thought and important theory about the incentive philosophy in China’s ancient, modern and contemporary times. Integrated with China’s actual situations tightly, define the knowledge workers and analyze their characteristics, and put forward the incentive methods and incentive principles for the knowledge workers.Chapter Three: HBP introduction. In terms of the work nature and development direction for such three types of personnel, analyze all kinds of problems existing in the aspect of HBP’s present knowledge worker incentive system.Chapter Four: Based on the research in the chapters above, construct a set of complete comprehensive incentive proposal for HBP in the compensation incentive, working incentive, personal growth/development and emotion incentive, these four aspects.Chapter Five: Summarize the research achievement, elaborate the existing problems for my research and set forth the research direction in future.
