With the advancement of economic globalization and China’s reform and opening up, enterprise groups emerge constantly. The advantage of enterprise groups is to achieve scale effect. In order to achieve the scale effect, groups need to implement effective management and control. As an important part of enterprise group management, human resource management plays an important role in group management and operation. Unfortunately, in reality, many group companies have a lot of problems when implement human resource management among parent and subsidiary companies. In the trend of advocating horizontal organizations, becoming multi-level and large-scale will result in higher degree of difficulty of management and control in large enterprises, the flexibility cannot also be ensured, which hinder their long-term growth. HT Group is in large-scale expansion phase, not only the human resource management inside HT group needs to be improved, but also the human resource management among parent and subsidiary companies needs to be promoted and improved systematically.The paper combs the existence literature, reviews the literature of management control theory, group human resource management theory, group human resource management mode and influence factors, and finds that in comparison with the human resource management in a single firm, group human resource management pay more attention to the management and control among parent and subsidiary companies, apart from covering each module of human resource management. In order to choose the appropriate human resource management mode, the group should take into full account parent and subsidiary companies’organizational structure, strategy choice, the life cycle stage, the related system, cultural values, management style, human resource management system, the quality of human resource management practitioners and so on.The paper applies the theory about group company management and group human resource management, takes the HT group as the subject, adopts the interview method and questionnaire method, finds that HT group implements comparatively centralized human resource management mode. In this mode, HT group’s human resource management have shortcomings in some aspects, such as comparatively chaotic human resource management mode in subsidiary companies, the imperfection in the management of core talents and the development of talent pool. Therefore, the paper puts forward some proposals, such as establishing a perfect system of expatriates, establishing human resource shared service center, creating the group’s training and retaining mechanism of core talent, improving the group’s performance management and incentive mechanism, establishing the training management system, strengthening human resource management informatization and so on.By the comparative analysis of group human resource management mode, the paper takes the HT group as the subject to take on the process of analyzing and optimizing group human resource management mode, deepens the application of group management theory in enterprise human resource management, and provides beneficial reference and guidance for future research. At the same time, on the basis of group management theory, the paper analyzes the present situation of HT group’s human resource management, and put forwards some proposals, such as establishing a perfect system of expatriates, establishing human resource shared service center, creating the group’s training and retaining mechanism of core talent and so on, explores a new way of how to improve the effectiveness of human resource management in our group companies.
