Food is a necessity of the development of the human existence, food safety is about people’s life safety and health, is about economic development and social stability. Food safety problems appear frequently in recent years, however, shows that food safety in our country is in the midst of the high risks and contradiction protruding period. As China’s food safety regulation is the most basic administrative unit of the government at the county level, is the integration of urban and rural, grassroots, oriented to the countryside, the management scope is big, the food safety supervision mechanism and effect of county government, will directly affect the vast rural areas in China the people’s diet safety and health, has the vital significance for the research.By using the theory of public economics and management theory, this paper adopts literature reading method, systematically analyzes the W city food safety supervision work development present situation and the existing problems, and based on these problems put forward the corresponding countermeasures.
