Under the trend of economic globalization, China is shifting from a great manufacturing nation to a manufacturing powerhouse, and it plays a more and more important role in the global supply chain. For the manufacturing enterprises, it has increasingly become the competition of the supply chain management. Therefore, how to optimize the supply chain management has turned into a core problem for the enterprise managers.By taking the example of a Glass packaging company and adopting the method of SWOT analysis, the author makes a further research of the supply chain and storage aspects according the current condition. The most important problems that should be solved include the inefficient management and high cost of supply chain, the mess of evaluation system. These problems have directly impacted the business strategy of the company; in the meantime, it will not be adapted to the company’s vision of enhancing competitiveness and expanding the scale.Combining with the current researches of the supply chain, the author puts forward some theories to respectively solve the above problems arising from the supply chain, which refers to strengthening the management of suppliers and improving the evaluation system of the supply chain. Promoting coordination of each link in the supply chain by the use of information tools and improving supply chain conditions with regenerates also contribute to the main theories.After executing a well planned and executed project, the enterprise completes a supply chain management upgrade by recreating whole process and promoting the project of ERP. Which preliminary realize the integration operation united with procurement, production, sales and logistics. And it favors the core competitive advantages of high quality, low cost and the timely rate by the methods of adopting information technology.
