Effects Of Situational Factors On The Loss Of Intellectual Property And Its Empirical Research On The Basis Of University

Owing to the requirement of knowledge economy and various resources and high risk of technological innovation investment, university-enterprise knowledge transfer has become essential to nowadays development of technological innovation. However, multi-agent cooperative innovation and knowledge transfer must cause various risk, especially risk of intellectual property which includes the risk of the loss of intellectual property. On one hand, as to the studies of knowledge transfer, there are many studies of knowledge transfer between cooperative innovation corporations which mainly focus on knowledge transfer performance, model, risk evaluation of intellectual property and the factors influencing knowledge transfer performance from the perspective of the opportunism of corporation. On the other hand, as to university-enterprise knowledge transfer, many studies concentrate on the factors influencing university-enterprise knowledge transfer and the knowledge transfer from university to enterprise, but neglect the knowledge transfer from enterprise to university.However knowledge flow under industry-university collaborative innovation model is bidirectional which includes not only the knowledge transferred from university to enterprise, but also the knowledge transferred from enterprise to university.Hence, based on current researches of loss of intellectual property in cooperation between university and enterprise and by summarizing relevant literature and theory at home and abroad, the paper, with enterprise which transfers knowledge as its research object and collaborative partners having sufficient choices and enterprise fully transferring knowledge as its premises, considering the effects of knowledge accepted university’s internal situation, transferring object situation, transferring process situation and government external situation on the loss of intellectual property, puts forward its conceptual model, research hypotheses and questionnaire based on current theoretical model and analyzes four situational factors. Besides,130 questionnaires were sent out and 100 questionnaires retrieved, among which 78 are valid and the author studies the effects of situational factors on the loss of intellectual property of enterprises by using SPSS 16.0 to conduct descriptive statistics, reliability and validity analysis, correlation analysis and regression analysis and then proposes corresponding solutions.23 research conclusions are put forward in the paper,18 of which are verified. Therefore, the conclusions of the paper reveals that:transferring object situation and distance situation are proportional to the loss of intellectual property; knowledge accepted university’s internal situation and trust are inversely proportional to the loss of intellectual property; the capability of knowledge absorption and integration of knowledge accepted university plays a part of intermediary role among knowledge accepted university’s internal situation, university-enterprise cooperation sharing situation and the loss of intellectual property of enterprises and plays a full intermediary role between knowledge transferring object situation and the loss of intellectual property of enterprises; government external situation plays a regulating role between trust, cultural distance, knowledge distance, relational distance of university-enterprise cooperation sharing situation and the loss of intellectual property of enterprises.
