The primary target of S company’s IT service management project is to design ITSM process which based on the best practices of ITIL V3. This article introduces the method to manage S company’s IT service management project by adopting quality management method in project management, on the one hand, it introduces project quality management and analyzes in details the cause of S company’s ITSM project quality management by applying cause and effect analysis method, it pinpoints the problems that S company shall pay particular attention to during the implementation of ITSM project, it also elaborates on the realization of project quality planning, project quality assurance and project quality control during the implementation of S company’s ITSM project based on actual cases and relevant analysis, on the other hand, in the output management, introduces the application of 6 Sigma method for further optimization of output quality. Through these researches, this article provides the quality management method of IT service management project and hope it can be used as a reference in management of similar projects.
