With the full service operation and transformation for traditional telecom carriers, there has been an ever growning chanllenges for enterprise maintenance tasks such as weak maintanence teams, high personnel cost, low standardization degee, etc. The introduction of Information Technology Infrastructure Library(ITIL) presents a promising solution for centralized and efficient IT system management, which has been concerned by industry. This thesis presents a comprehensive research on ITIL and its application in Jiangxi Telecom.Firstly, this thesis gives a brief introduction of IT operation and service principles. Followed are analysis of ITIL and quality management. Finally, some specific optimization solutions for Jiangxi Telecom are proposed with the analysis of ITIL situation. The project implementation results show that the introduction of ITIL improving the enterprise IT service processes and service efficiency significantly.
