| With the rapid development of Internet and information technology, enterprises are facing increasingly changing external environment, China’s e-commerce development rapidly, and many traditional companies start their E-business. At the meantime, e-commerce enterprises based on the platform is becoming one of the best choice of entrepreneurship for the openness of internet and its characteristics like low-cost and efficiency, especially the rapid development of internet economy. Regarding the existing studies on the E-business, research in value creation of E-business is relatively less, and empirical research much less. Taking sample from the firms which perform their E-business on platforms in china, this dissertation from the perspective of value creation, and study the function mechanism between value creation pattern and enterprise performance in reference to a large number of existing research results.The research starts with review of literature. It summarizes the research about E-business, value creation and environmental dynamism, and then a research model of value creation patterns and enterprise performance based on environmental dynamism is formed.At the first stage of empirical research, structured interviews with experts and a small-scale pre-investigation are carried out to adjust the theory model and questionnaire. At the second stage, the first hand data is collected by a survey and the result of questionnaire investigation is analyzed with SPSS18.0.According to empirical research, this paper draws several conclusions:Efficiency, Complementarities, Lock-in, and Novelty well associated with enterprise performance. Efficiency and Complementarities significantly affect financial performance; Efficiency, Complementarities, and Novelty significantly affect operation performance; Lock-in, and Novelty significantly affect the quality of flow. Environmental dynamism can adjust the relationship between value creation patterns and enterprise performance. Firms with different characteristics like age, staff size and category act differently on enterprise performance. These outcomes can guide the bosses, managers and entrepreneurships who operate e-business on platforms how to perfect their acts in order to improve performance.Finally, the dissertation summarizes the conclusions, and points out the limitation and the future prospect of this research. |
