The land is fundamental to human survival, the source of wealth accumulationand the basis for social and economic development. At present, the large populationwith relatively arable land is the fundamental conditions of China. And problems inhuman society arising from the land to the development of human society is oftenfar-reaching impact. And problems arising from the land in human society,which hasa far-reaching impact on the development of human society. China is now in a phaseof accelerating urbanization, industrialization, population continues to sustainedgrowth, a lot of land needed for urban construction leading to serious contradictionbetween supply and demand. Therefore, The land use needs to be done from theaspects of intensive utilization of the salt, and strive to achieve the building does notoccupy arable farmland accounted for less. Intensive land use is a kind of sustainableland use,which completely implement the claim of the Scientific Outlook onDevelopment, and can achieve the goal of economic develops healthily and rapidly.The study was conducted in the status intensive land-use situation study ofdomestic and international, summarized on the basis of the content, the researchmethods and technology roadmap determine by " Land Intensive Use ZoneRegulations (Trial)"(2010edition), define the basic concepts of intensive land usezone. Base on the scarcity of land supply theory," the land law of diminishingreturns "theory, land supply and demand theory, the theory of sustainabledevelopment, and land rent theory as the theoretical basis. On the basis of the land use survey of wuhai economic development zone, to analysis the development zoneland use structure, the development zone land supply structure, the development zoneland construction intensity, the development zone land use efficiency, thedevelopment zone land management performance, and so on. And the WuhaiEconomic Development Zone land use survey, analyzed performance such as the landstructure the supply structure, strength building land, land use efficiency, landmanagement, evaluated and estimated the intensive land use potential of the zone,analyzed the evaluation and calculation results, obtained the intensive land useevaluation findings. Finally, conclude the evaluation the related managementrecommendations.Through the analysis of land use survey and the qualitative results from land data,showed that the proportion of the various functions of land and space in general arereasonable, there are a variety of functions between each other mutually landreinforcing relationship within the scope of Wuhai Economic Development Zone.With mainly industrial storage space, continued development, geographical advantageand good investment environment, the zone can attract more strength of largeenterprises. Intensive land levels will also be further improved. In the intensive landuse of evaluation, in general, intensive land use of Wuhai Economic DevelopmentZone get high score, the intensive use at a very high level. Higher land efficiencysuggested the zone has good investment environment, enterprises in the region hasgood economic efficiency, region’s economic scale has large potential of expand.Higher degree of market, suggested land market has made great progress in the zone,especially in recent years, land market allocation of resources extent improved quickly, intensity land use situation score is84.89, this evaluation goal is the lowest of thethree evaluation objectives, reflected land use situation of the zone has to be furtherimproved. For the potential Estimates side, the rest of the unused land for offering isless than half a year in Wuhai city economic development zone. With the continuouslyrapid development of regional economy, the original approved scope of land use hasfar cannot satisfy the needs of economic development, Index of land use restrictionhas become the main restriction factor of economic development. The conclusionsfrom the study suggested that Wuhai Economic Development Zone in the futuredevelopment process has to strictly enforce land-use planning, improving landintensive degree; controlling the total land supply, improve the efficiency of land use.Accelerate the construction of infrastructure and investment environment, promote theaverage value of land, established scientific space threshold, to improve the efficiencyof land use.
