The Research Of Warehouse Management Optimization Of K Corporation

As the development of domestic social economy, the competition amongenterprises increased fiercely. Promoting the ability of warehouse management will beenhance the competitiveness of enterprises effectively, and then achieve strategicissues to sustainable development of enterprises. Therefore, the improvement andoptimization of warehouse management has become a very important research forenterprises. K Corporation is engaged in foodstuff production, mainly producinginstant noodles of various flavors. With increasingly demand of market, the demandof raw materials is of a corresponding increase, which is caused a great pressure to thestorage and management of raw materials warehouse. Moreover, there will be a lot ofproblems that have a direct impact on the production and operation of enterprises.According to the investigation and research deeply into the operational practiceand the situation of K Corporation raw material warehouse, whereas the paperanalyzes some problems should be solved, such as: storage rack is unreasonable,moving lines setting is Circuitous, convection, and crossover, the responsibilities arenot clear and definite, the working efficient is lower and so on. To solve this problems,by using scientific research methods, this paper propose a reasonable solution forwarehouse management of K Corporation, which is include three parts: storageoperation optimization, management and performance evaluation of storage staff, andWMS application based on information technology. Ultimately, it can help KCorporation enhancing the sustainable development ability and core competence byincreasing the storage capacity, reducing the inventory level, improving the storageefficiency and management standardization.
