"Knowledge is power" was put forward by bacon who is a famous philosopherin the17th century. Since it is a rich era of knowledge in the21st century, Knowledgedetermines the pattern of the new distribution of wealth. Management consultingcompany, as a typical knowledge-based enterprise, is faced with both opportunity andchallenge. Because more than90%of management consulting company Knowledgebelongs to tacit knowledge, tacit knowledge management determines the corecompetitiveness of management consulting enterprise. How to improve the tacitknowledge management to stand out in the management consultancy become a worthstudying topic under the more and more intense competition environment.Due to some subjective or objective reasons of tacit knowledge management inpractice, the tacit knowledge management process is not problem-free, but full ofobstacles. Three aspects are mainly included for the tacit knowledge managementthey are identification, development–utilization and keeps–innovation. This paperanalyzed from six aspects, and gives the corresponding solution strategy. The sixaspects are the obstacles of tacit knowledge characteristics, management valuesobstacles, tacit knowledge transfer barriers, tacit knowledge transfer barriers, tacitknowledge sharing barriers, Keep obstacles of tacit knowledge, tacit knowledgeinnovation barriers.If Management consulting company can eliminate barriers that exist in the tacitknowledge management through certain way, it will well achieve the management oftacit knowledge, and also improve the enterprise’s core competitiveness. Tacitknowledge management must be combined with the situation of Managementconsulting company, different circumstances has to take different methods for tacitknowledge management.
