With the coming of the knowledge economy era, the creating, transferring and utilizing of knowledge has become the key to enterprise sustainable growth and the source of enterprise sustainable competitive advantage. Knowledge team, with knowledge employees as its main members, has turned into the dominating operational pattern for many enterprises in senior management and the development and construction of important project. The obvious characteristics of knowledge team challenge itself in organizational learning and knowledge management, and gradually tend to individualization.One key problem confronted with knowledge team is how to transfer knowledge inside the team, especially tacit knowledge in possession of knowledge employees with high knowledge reserves. The effective transfer is propitious to knowledge-sharing and then the forming of team core competence. Team leadership is an important factor in promoting tacit knowledge learning. Proper style and influence of leadership provide favorable conditions and supports for knowledge entity to learn tacit knowledge.Under the perspective of tacit knowledge learning, this article investigates in how can team leadership help to create a favorable organizational learning environment for knowledge team to promote tacit knowledge transfer inside the team. On the basis of literature review and theoretical analysis, this article organizes and summarizes the transferring and learning mechanism of tacit knowledge inside the team, and found out the key influencing factors in this process. Hypothesis and conceptual model are proposed after probing into effective leadership behavior and characteristics as well as its effects according to these key factors. Based on large-scale interview and questionnaire, the article regards management consulting team as the research object, carries on positive analysis and investigated in the hypothesis and conceptual model.The positive analysis shows that the performance of tacit knowledge transferring and learning in knowledge team has a positive influence on team performance. Team leaders with democratic decision-making, individuation concern, innovation-oriented leadership style, informal leading behavior and high organizational influence can have a significant effect in tacit knowledge transferring and learning in knowledge team. Based on the positive analysis, this article finally puts forward some corresponding reference suggestions for knowledge team leadership in terms of knowledge management, organizational management and human resource management.
