The dispenser is a machine which provides the dispensing quantity and encapsulation to the special position, it is widely used in the occasions of electronic packaging, part fixing and glass sealing. In recent years, with the continuous development of China’s industrial level, the high-tech electronic information industry continues to expand, so the demand of correlative automated dispensing equipment is increasing. However, the dispensing technology is relatively insufficient in our country, the typically semi-automation equipment can not satisfy some high precision dispensing products and seriously affect the dispensing accuracy and production efficiency, which hinders the sustainable development of the electronic high-tech industries in our country. In the trend of rapid development of high technology, a fully automated dispensing machine which has the advantages of high accuracy and good stability will be designed,which instead the traditional semi-automated equipment and improves the efficiency.For the currentresearch status of the dispensing technology today,the machine vision technology is applied in the design of the automatic dispensing machine, which successfully controls the dispensing quantity and the dispensing position. The main research work of this paper is as follows:First of all, the overall program of dispensing system andanalysis of two basic functionsof the dispenser have been finished, which include dispensing position and dispensing quantity, and on this basis, the overall design scheme of the dispensing system has been finished. The program consists of three parts to mechanical modeling of structural units, the visual system unit and control system unit. Among them, key parts of the selection and head of the dispensing device modeling are included in mechanical unit; the motion control module and I/O communication module are included in control unit system; Vision system unit mainly makes up of camera, light source, lens and other visual hardware selection and Open eVision, C# and other software platform selection.Secondly, the design and modeling of the whole mechanism have been carried out and the ball screw and motor of the dispenser are calculated and selected;the assembly modeling of the whole structure is finished by Solid Works, and the modeling is required to do the kinematics analysis.Next, thetheory of image processing has been analyzedin this system. Theimage processing module includes image preprocessing and image feature extraction. the image preprocessing module mainly consists of filter enhancement, binary segmentation and morphological processing and image feature extraction mainly is applied to linear feature extraction. According to these theories, the processing effect of different methods is analyzed in order to choose the suitable image processing method.Then, the visual system has been designed in the system of dispensing module.On the basis of understanding the design requirements, the design of the visual platform is carried out. The program mainly includes image acquisition, image processing, image calibration and image information interaction part.After connecting these different parts, the whole visual system is finished by the C#.Finally, the analysis test of dispensing performance analysis has been completed. The multiple factors of dispensing quantity analysis of orthogonal experiment determine the optimal configuration of parameters of the glue temperature, fluid pressure, injection pressure, interpolation and interpolation speed. And under the premise of optimal parameter configuration,the glue dispensing accuracy and efficiency are tested and analyzed. The experimental results show that the dispensing machine achieves the desired high precision and high efficiency of dispensing performance requirements.In the paper, the vision technology is used in the dispensing process, the dispensing position is confirmed by the coordinate motion platform and the image processing results, so a fully automatic dispensing machine is developed and it realizesthe precise control of the dispensing quantity and the dispensing position.
