In our country,the highway, especially the high-grade highway is in a rapid development period, the quality of road construction has get people`s more and more attention and importance.Studying and designing an intelligent and efficient monitoring system,implementing an intelligent monitoring in the process of road construction on stone combustion furnace fuel consumption detection,asphalt mixing station fillers ratio andbitumen aggregate ratio and road roller in subgrade compaction degree whole process,is the urgent need to the construction road project quality and reasonable production real-time early warning and assessment.Based on the analysis and study of various detection techniques and monitoring systems in road construction,the dissertation designs an intelligent monitoring system for road construction process,implements the detection and monitoring on burning degree in burner,asphalt mixing station and subgrade compaction degree.The main work of this paper includes:1.Based on the analytic study of the road construction process chain that includes stone heating baking, mix production, asphalt mixing material transport, asphalt paving pavement and subgrade compaction procedures and so on which involve in detection, remote transmission, positioning and image processing technology,the paper puts forward intelligent monitoring system programme and overall design.2.Focus on studying two working procedures of the intelligent control in road construction process chain,collects and tests images of the fired stones from the combustion furnace with the same reference combustion furnace for burning out qualified stone, uses java language into Android mobile platform, then detects and compares the two pieces of image based on improved histogram detection algorithm,implements the distinguish to the similarity for the stones,so as to detect the burning degree.At last,controls the oil quantity change in combustion furnace with the results.3.Usingintelligent remote monitoring system analyzesthe asphalt mixing plant operator interface at the road construction site.With the digital image processing technology to extract real-time data of mixing materials, transmitting the recognized character data through the GPRS. Then, the data is received by the remote monitoring center to parse, analyze, processand display so that achieve the goal to save and query the historical data of mixture and the data of mixing equipment operating time.4.For remote monitoring the road roller subgrade compaction,through the high precision positioning technology, acquires accurate roller space coordinates(elevation error less than1cm);uses OpenGL 3D scene building technology, with the acquisition of a roller spatial data to carry out visualized simulation for subgrade construction,constructs accurate visualization of subgrade model in order to carry out monitoring to road roller on the degree of subgradecompaction.Finally,using the remote transmission technology transmits the roller data to the remote server stably and reliably,saving them to the database.Applied the intelligent monitoring system in road construction, after several validates in multiple places, it achieves better testing results which proves that the system has a certain practicality.
