The current network has developed into a very complex information transmiss io n channel. Network equipment management is becoming increasingly important due to the continuous improvement of web technology. Equipment in key industries(such as banking, telecommunications, hospitals) comes to be especially important, they work in different types of wide area network or LAN, equipment problems may bring serious consequences. Data acquisition framework is the basis of the management of network equipment, which provides an important data support for a variety of manage me nt platform. Due to the diversity of devices and the complexity of transport protocols, traditional data acquisition methods exist some disadvantages such as weak compatibilit y, poor scalability, cross-platform and remote management difficulties, development and maintenance difficulties and so on. Therefore, this paper designs and implements a remote web data acquisition framework based on SNMP/IPMI and B/S. The research was conducted with support of the project "Power Dispatch Automated System Resource Management Platform" and based on the lab test servers.This paper first analyzes the system structure and working principle of the SNMP and IPMI protocol, and presents a data acquisition framework design with Web and reverse Ajax technology. And then elaborates on the design and implementation of the acquisition module, which supports for SNMP and IPMI and gives scalable for the acquisition protocol. The acquisition strategy engine provides system scalability for acquisition mode based on time; the work thread meets the requirements of high efficiency concerning concurrent processing; the web and Ajax technology achieves the remote management and high user interaction in real time.Finally, this paper has finished the test of the data collection framework through the experiment. The experiment shows that this data acquisition framework can meet the requirements of data acquisition of network equipment. In addition, this paper analyzes methods to improve concurrency, intelligence and security, and points out the further research directions.
