Research And Application Of Key Technology Of Streaming Media Distribution Based On Cloud Computing

In recent years, The Internet, a global media to share content and services, is growing rapidly, meanwhile, it is integrated with mobile networks. Because of this, a variety of streaming media business appeared and continues to enrich people’s lives, created great value, occupied a lot of Internet bandwidth. Large-scale streaming service with characteristics like large data transmission capacity, long transmission time and so on, need the high quality of the network services. Nowadays, many institutions in the Internet only have limited network resources, it is difficult for the current Internet to provide media applications of large-scale commercial traffic with quality services. In this situation, current streaming services can’t meet the user’s commend. How to use limited resources to build high-quality streaming media distribution network efficiently is an important question. This issue is concerned by academia and industry.Firstly, this paper studied several key issues of the process for streaming media distribution. The issues include features of streaming service, the main network structure of conventional streaming media distribution system, the problems existing in streaming media distribution system. Then binding cloud platform resource management and cloud computing for large-scale data processing efficiency proposed the solutions for the problems of large-scale streaming media distribution. Lastly, to solve these problems and apply the solution to the New Media Broadcasting, the CDN system based on cloud computing is proposed. The system is designed to improve resource utilization, improve user experience. It mainly use cloud computing and CDN to construct streaming media distribution system that can be deployed elastically. This system can also enable the users to the nearest access to the required resource. The key technologies of it include the client speed measurement technology by means of Hadoop and a caching technology based on user behavior, cluster deployment and flexible management based on OpenStack.
