With the rapid development of the Internet, streaming media technology applications has been used, such as video on demand, live video conferencing. The contradiction between the growing demands and the lack of network bandwidth has become bigger and bigger. The media transmission quality is impact of the quality of the services. To solve the Backbone network bandwidth pressure and improve transmission efficiency are the key factors that must be taken into account, the use of proxy cache servers, while cooperating with the CDN technology will get better efficiency.This paper first analyzes the original transmission is not suitable for the current multimedia data transmission, so streaming has been selected. To analyze the existing streaming media caching algorithms and the replacement algorithm and a algorithm has been raise up in this paper Popular high-performance segment- based proxy caching algorithm, it is based on the existing algorithm; Analysis of the existing streaming media transmission technology to study the advanced CDN network and to complete the connection establishment; To achieve a proxy server data storage and transmission; To focus on the load balancing problem, such as the local load balancing and global load balancing.The main solution is as follows:(1) Based on CDN distribution strategy and load-balancing strategy for research and implementation.(2) Complete the overall design the inner design of each module and the interface of the modules (3) User interaction of front page communication, using Flex technology B/S mode, and to achieve localization implementation of the user.(4) Achieve the client to the proxy server detection, to achieve local load balancing and global load balancing modules, to complete the overall system data exchange.(5) Completed the detection between the source server and proxy server, achieved the optimal selection, get a better choice of source server.(6) Achieve collaboration of the proxy server, completed the dynamic interactions between proxies.(7) Completed the caching algorithm research of the proxy server, to compare the streaming proxy server segmentation algorithm, expelled algorithm, created a improved algorithm, and get a valid ratio.(8) Achieve the interaction between the modules of the simulation system,get the evaluation of the algorithm model.At last finished the demo system testing; At the same time finished the optimizing the performance test, testing the whole system in the delay ratio, the caching hit ratio, to compare the evaluation performance of the system.
