With the development of internet technology, the network traffic brought by videoservices explosive grows. In the future internet traffic, video services will be mainstream. Atpresent, video on demand services has widespread bottleneck of the network bandwidth andlonger response time. Content Distribution Network(CDN) is technically a comprehensivesolution to this problem, and it is more and more widely used at home and abroad. However,the existing CDN architecture is facing the challenges of dramatic increasing in video services,its outstanding problem is the problem of inadequate IT infrastructure and storage space. Thecurrent CDN model also can’t reach the changing needs of business volume, and can’t meetthe requirements of system scalability.Cloud computing technology has made rapid development, it can unified schedule andshare computing resources, that is network, storage, computing and platform. Cloudcomputing is a huge resource pool that can provide on-demand services and flexibledeployment. Therefore, cloud computing has become one of the effective technical solutionsto solve the existing problem of the CDN.This article studied the automatic deployment of cloud computing, resource monitoringand virtualization technologies. By monitoring, management and scheduling resources, cloudcomputing ensures the stability of the resources, thus ensuring the quality of the service layer,calling sufficient resources during peak periods, releasing excess resources in the business oflow peak, improved the use of resources rate. It has great significance for improving CDNperformance. The topic introduced CDN network technology, global load balancing, andstorage technologies. It focused on the investigation and study of the existing CDN cachingtechnology, and put forward a caching technology based on user behavior, to improve thecache utilization and user satisfaction. On this basis, build a content distribution network inthe cloud platform, scripting in API of OpenStack, achieving communications and schedulingbetween cloud and CDN. This platform achieved distributing resources according to need and automatic expansion for CDN, implemented distribution capabilities of the CDN streamingmedia. The experimental results show that user behavior-based caching techniques have agood effect on reducing the number of cache replacement, and is a very effective method tosolve the shortage of existing space.
