With the development of society and technology, the association between the national economy and news is increasingly close. The development of journalism is directly related to national politics. China is in the stage of rapid social transition, variety changes of policies, laws, regulations and systems are testing the news industry and its practitioners. Ethical issues of journalists not only have impact on their own social image but also on the credibility of the news media practitioners, and additionally on the effectiveness of ideological and political education. Therefore, how to improve journalistic ethics has a very important theoretical value and practical significance.Based on the literature review, we analyzed the importance and current status of professional ethics of journalists, explored the reasons for ethical problems, and proposed treatment measures from the aspect of Marxist scientific concept. We aimed at searching for the cross-cutting areas of Marxist ideology and journalistic ethics, expanding its research area, and solving practical problems using principles of Marxism news view.Through analysis, this paper summarized the major presentation for the misconduct of journalist as the loss of authenticity to news reports, lack of social responsibility, lack of human care, and frequent bribery. We determined the main reasons for such behaviors: the absence of social responsibility; the economic interests; weak supervisory mechanism. And we further analyzed the hazards of these misconducts. Then, we used the principle of Marxist, proposed the strategies for strengthening the ethics of current journalists, including strengthening education, intense ethics assessment, improving the supervision mechanism of journalists.The efforts in improving journalists professional ethics is an important task and a timeless topic. With the development in technology, information dissemination continues to rapidly evolve, which will further present more manifestations and experience transformation. Ethical issues and the corresponding strategies remain to be further studied.
