In recent years, the rapid development of China’s electronic industry, electronic products toward miniaturization and portable direction propulsion. In order to meet the development, all types of electronic components appear multi-pin and pin spacing micrometer, cell size smaller, component-encapsulation mode’s change and so many changes. These changes will undoubtedly brought a greater challenge to SMT(Surface Mounted Technology, abbreviated SMT). As the most important equipment in the production line of SMT, the chip mounter is very important for the development of its structure and improvement of its performance. At present, most of the used chip mounter in our country is imported from abroad, while the demand is increasing year by year. In order to change the market structure, the development of the independent production of chip mounter has an important significance for improving the capabilities of research and development of manufacturing facilities.This paper uses SolidWorks CAD design software to design the structural of the chip mounter, and uses the large-scale finite element analysis software ANSYS to analyze parts statics and dynamics to ensure that the structure performance of chip mounter. The main contents are:1. According to the different parts of the chip mounter, this paper divides the chip mounter into different modules, and uses SolidWorks software to complete the structural design of each module;2. To ensure the performance of the chip mounter,this paper uses software ANSYS to conduct static analysis of the designed parts and gets the deformation of the parts, and uses finite element modal analysis method to obtain low-order natural frequencies and mode shapes of parts type, in order to ensure the reasonableness of the various parts of the structure;3. Using the structural optimization method to optimize the design of the structure of the unreasonable parts, and using the modal analysis method to verify the optimization scheme;4. To verify the dynamic performance of the machine, this paper analyzed the modal of the whole machine. In the whole process of the modal analysis, in order to ensure the accuracy of the analysis, this paper used Yoshimura Masako integral method and Hertz contact theory to calculate integration of dynamic parameters, and to establish the dynamic model of the chip mounter to ensure the dynamic performance of the machine.This paper bases on the finite element analysis method, and uses the method of staticsand dynamics analysis to analyze the structure of the chip mounter. It improved the static and dynamic performance of the machine, ensured the quality of the chip mounter, and provided a feasible design method for the the design of the machine.
