Design And Implementation Of Medical Information Management System

There are only small clinic but not professional and large hospital in colleges and universities in Beijing. Students usually need to go to the large or comprehensive hospital when they get sick, and then they can get reimbursement by the prescription or invoice. With the development of Beijing medical care system, the socialized medicine system is improving day by day. However, with the reform and improvement of this system, the school Examine and Approve system has shown its weakness and backward. The mismatching between the two systems caused a large amount of data need to be processed manually, which increased the working hours and working costs greatly. The School Medical Reimbursement Information Management System is designed and developed in order to solve these problems. It can make information management more scientific, standardized, and strengthen the information communication and interaction between the organization and the city health center.This paper mainly describes the overall structure of the college terminal examine and approve system based on C/S architecture, the outline design of each functional module, and focuses on the workflow and detailed design ideas of the terminal system.This program was designed and compiled by reference to the dozens of Beijing colleges and universities’ socialized medicine reimbursement system, using PowerBuilder 9.0 as development tool, Power Script as development language, and SQL Server 2005 as background database. It can realize the examination and approval of staff essential information and medical expenses information by system administrator. The report was drawn according to the forms provided by the health care center and the colleges, and was created by data windows in the PowerBuilder 9.0.
