With the development of Electronic Counter Measures (ECM) technology, radarhas confronted with more and more threat. Then Low Probability of Intercept (LPI)radar has been paid widespread attention. It is quite efficient to accomplish the schemeargumentation and performance evaluation of the LPI radar system by modeling andsimulating it on computers. This method is available for researching LPI techniques.Based on the LPI techniques the LPI radar system simulation scheme is promoted,also the simulation frame and work flow are described in detail. The simulation systemis divided into transmitting signal, transmitting antenna, receiving antenna, echo,receiver, signal processor, data processor and resource scheduling in the scheme andevery module is developed according to C++class pattern and uniform structure pattern.Relying on a concept of module design, all module models are built. The parameters ofeach model are setting, then through the simulated result correctness of all modelsverified. Eventually based on the built models three LPI radar system simulation modelswhich are separately on the basis of LFM pulse signal, phase code pulse signal and FMcontinuous wave are established. According to the transmitting signal the differentprocessing is chosen. The simulation parameters are separately set to simulate the threesystem simulation models. Through the simulation result, the detection, trackingcapability and LPI performance of the system simulation model are evaluated.
