With the development of IC card application scope and development of IC card techology, integrate multi-functions into a chip card becomes a trend which also call E-Card solution. By unifying techology stanard and transaction rules, E-Card can be applied as a purchase medium in different fields. Promoting the public transport E-Card consuming terminal development can effectively improve E-Card paying environment which ameliorate shopping experience through E-Card and trigger the growth of electronic paying industry. This paper center on E-Card consuming POS terminal techology and feasibility of STM32 processor as an implementation of POS embedded system. Base on this techs and implemntaions, this paper covers RFID tech, mobile intertnet communcation tech, embedded system application developments without os, man-machine control interface, and data storage tech.First, the paper has introduced the requirement and software framework of POS terminal. Then base on the schematic circuit diagram of RFID Chip,High Speed Thermal Printer,GPRS Module,LCD Module, paper has detailly described driver developlment procedure including GPIO port configurations and instruction operations. At last, particular description of important theory and implementation in software development such as signal procession of embeded single thread message mechansim, E-Card consuming procedure, IAP remote upgrade procedure, security authentication etc. This project has perform implementations on POS terminal including public transport consuming, balance inquiry, terminal transation data upload, transaction voucher printing, device status configuration, remote system upgrade and transaction data inquiry. According to the integrated test result, this project has meet the design requirement.
