The physical fitness of students is very important,and the physical test grades are also part of the university scores.Long-distance running is one of the compulsory items in the physical fitness test for Chinese college students.It is usually timed with a stopwatch,which requires the teacher to supervise during the whole process,and it is difficult to get accurate test results when the students cross the line at about the same time.This method has low time accuracy and is greatly affected by human factors.Therefore,this thesis proposes an automatic timing system that can replace traditional manual timing with higher efficiency and accuracy,which can ensure fairness and justice,but also avoid man-made deviations.The automatic timing system uses STM32 single-chip microcomputer as the main controller,and uses Radio Frequency Identification(RFID)technology to realize automatic timing.The data collected by the RFID reader can be displayed on the LCD screen after returning to the main controller.At the same time,the data can also be returned to the mobile phone via Bluetooth wireless communication.In addition to the basic timing function,the system has been improved and completed in three aspects:anti-cheating design,environmental weather measurement,and anti-collision algorithm.The system uses an infrared obstacle avoidance module to prevent the occurrence of cheating;adds a temperature and humidity sensor to measure the meteorological conditions of the surrounding environment;at the same time,it also analyzes the solutions to tag collision problems and studied the performance of various algorithms through MATLAB simulation.
