RFID(radio frequency identification)is a kind of use of radio frequency signals for automatic identification and information transmission technology.With the development of society and technology,it has been widely used in all aspects of public security,finance,transportation,medical and other social life.With a variety of RF card application is becoming more and more popular,and the RF card reader has also made rapid development,more and more companies and research institutions have put into RF smart card reader and related application system research and development.The most widely prevalent in our country non connected with an IC card is based on ISO/IEC 14443 protocols Mifare card,TypeA CPU card,TypeB CPU card.Along with the application of these cards,the corresponding card reader also many,read the card is used as the core of the design is the microprocessor control corresponding radio frequency processing chip to achieve.Currently the radio frequency processing chip design is NXP(Philips predecessor),TI(Texas Instruments)several major semiconductor companies control,the high cost of not only affects the RFID technology in many fields of large area promotion,also caused a huge loss of foreign exchange.In response to the call of the country on the localization of the semiconductor industry,accelerate homebred RF chip in the field of RFID application,this paper RFID technology and embedded system design requirements,the design of Shanghai Fudan Microelectronics Company Limited of FM17550 RF chip according to company of meaning law semiconductor of cortex MO nuclear microcontroller design a support Mifare card,Type A CPU card,TypeB CPU card and NFC enabled universal read card reader.The biggest feature of this design is to support multiple types of radio frequency cards and low cost.This paper first describes the current research and application of the RFID technology and the intelligent radio frequency card application of relevant standards,then from the hardware aspect introduced the radio frequency card reader contains the main module design,and then tells the RF card reader in the commissioning of the antenna in the process of some methods and software focuses on read the card all RF card function realization and in different industry application of positive social and economic value.
