Wireless sensor network(WSN) is one of the emerging information perception technology, which is a collection of sensor technology, wireless communication technology and embedded computing technology. The new data sensing technology, completely changed the traditional industries in the way of data acquisition and processing. Wireless sensor network with low cost, low power consumption, the characteristics of flexibility and stability of effective implementation of the physical world and information integration of the world, become a core component of a new generation of Internet of things. In the national defense military, academic research, industrial and agricultural applications, the life that occupy the home, and other fields caused great attention. In the practical application of wireless sensor network, the position of the sensor nodes play an important role in increasing the effectiveness of the collected data. So the sensor node positioning technology has become one of the supporting technology of wireless sensor network. The existing wireless sensor network node location technology, whether it is a distributed positioning or centralized positioning, each node location information is usually calculated separately. And in the actual application scenarios, such as military exercises, tour visit, there are many groups of moving node need to locate at the same time, the processing and communication ability is limited and difficult to guarantee in node. So the wireless sensor network groups positioning technology has important practical significance.Based on the research on the basis of traditional wireless sensor network node location technology, put forward a groups positioning technology. First of all, the design of a community partition algorithm, including the group head node selection, real-time update of the ordinary nodes into groups and groups. Then, based on wireless sensor network operating system TinyOS, application design realize the communication between the nodes, used for the transmission of group division and location information. Finally, the groups positioning application based on.NET is developed in PC, realizing the collection of information in the application of localization algorithm, filtering, and groups. To sum up, realize the mobile node group positioning of wireless sensor network.The location technology based on groups, can reduce the wireless sensor network traffic, reduce the calculation time of localization algorithm, and improve the real-time positioning. On the basis of meet the needs of the specific location applications, can prolong the life cycle of wireless sensor network.
