| In the past several decades breast cancer has become the most common female malignancy all over the world, which contributes to the highest mortality of cancer among women. Recently, it has been reported that the mortality of breast cancer can be significantly reduced via the early detection. As an essential diagnostic tool, breast imaging plays an important role in the diagnosis of breast cancer.The shortage of working and training experiences may lead to the misjudgments of breast cancer by imaging practitioners. In this case, patients without cancer will probably suffer from dissemination, while early-stage breast cancer patients might lose the best opportunities in the cancer treatment.In this study we cooperated with tumor hospital affiliated to sun yat-sen university deeply, and collected a series of diagnostic information as well as their breast ultrasound images from breast cancer patients, and then, established a large breast ultrasound database which had 558 patient records and 821 tumor records. Accordingly, we devised a web-based tutoring and diagnosis system based on the breast cancer database. This system can be applied to breast tumor fields amongst specialists, physicians and medical students. This online training system enables the improvement of physicians’ capabilities in distinguishing between the benign and malignant lesions, facilitates their diagnosis levels, and effectively reduces the misdiagnosis of breast cancer.The server of the online training system uses classic Browser/Server structure. The front system is implemented by the HTML + CSS + Javascript + jQuery, and adopts the Bootstrap which can much faster develop web pages. The system uses the powerful web application platform of Linux + Apache + PHP + MySQL, and uses the Zend Studio as the development tools. Thinkphp which is based on php open source framework, can improve the development efficiency, enhance the system security and stability, but also reduce the difficulty of system maintenance. |
