With the rapid development of the integrated circuit industry, Turret Based Test Handler as the representative for the electronic packaging machine equipment is also more and more being applied to the field. The main task of the thesis, which is aiming at the existing shortage of products, designs a reasonable system for turret based test handler to meet the current demand of the market from the perspective of human-machine interface design, structure process design and software system design.Firstly, the composition and operation principle of the turret based test handler are introduced in detail and the action process of main station is designed, and to optimize the improvement in the test and practice to design a reasonable solution.Secondly, the thesis makes a concrete design for the software interface, which includes functional design, interaction design and visual design, after research analysis on the interface requirements were made.Thirdly, the thesis makes specific design for the machine control system in terms of worker thread, database module and the execution unit Worker thread by using the multithread enhances the software operating efficiency, the database module adopts ADO technology making deep consideration from the aspects of ergonomic, while the execution unit made design specifications for the motor and I/O signal, and using critical section to make synchronization control of motor API functions.Finally, aiming at the existing defects of the original grading station structure, the thesis redesigned the new one to meet the production requirements. At the same time, the selection of ball screw pair and other parts of body were described in detail.Based on the above research, the speed and reliability of handler machine were improved by successful design of main station action process, software operating system, the grading station mechanical mechanism and human-machine interface.
