The Research Base On EXCEL/VBA Of Acquiring And Progressing The Data Of Accuracy Tests For Volumetric Infusion Pumps

The flow accuracy test of volumetric infusion pump is one of the main contents in our country national standard GB 9706.27-2005 Medical electrical equipment– Particular requirements for the safety of Infusion pump and controllers. In order to complete the test, the testing agencies at home and abroad respectively usesa set of auxiliary system for testing the flow accuracy of infusion pump.Microsoft Office EXCEL is commonly used as office software and data statistics software and VBA is from the development of VB.The EXCEL/VBA technology is the combination of Microsoft office EXCEL and VBA.This technology can develop a more powerful system. This paper aims to develop a set of systems by EXCEL/VBA technology, with the lower cost, higher compatibility, ease of use and portability of the systemthan that are being used, to improve the efficiency of the daily test work.In this paper, we first evaluate the accuracy of the flow rate of volumetric infusion pump by the theory of the model, and the calculation principle of the start-up curve and the trumpet curve, which is the core of the whole system algorithm. A set of testing system is designed and developed using EXCEL/VBA technology, which can realize the following functions:(1)The serial communication between computer and precision electronic balance is realized by EXCEL/VBA technology.(2) The data collection, data verification and code conversion of the precision electronic balance by EXCEL/VBA technology.(3) Through the EXCEL/VBA technology to achieve data import function.(4) Data processing and calculation by EXCEL/VBA technology, and the final rendering of the accuracy of the GB9706.27-2005 in the assessment model- start-up curve and the trumpet curve.(5) A better man-machine interaction interface for easy operation is carried out.In the end, the paper introduces the test and verification of the system to ensure the system to achieve the expected function and design purposes.Based on EXCEL / VBA technology volumetric infusion pump accuracy testing system has been applied to my work. The practice has proved that the system can compatible with many the precision electronic balances in my company, without the need to purchase a specific precision electronic balance and saving the cost. The system can run on di fferent computers, and only need one EXCEL file which can achieve all the expected functions, without the need to install additional plug-ins or configure your computer. It’s easy to use, high portability. Use of the system saves me a lot of the cost of human resources, improve the testing efficiency.
