As the sensor technology and the signal processing technology, it has become one of the many foundations of the information processing technology.Along with the enhancement of the speed of the computer and the Windows graphic operating system, it is necessary for people to use a fast, effective data acquisition system based on PCs to obtain information and meet the requirements of information acquisition. In this paper, after compared with several computer bus technology, the high-performance PCI is used to be the interface device of the multi-channel data acquisition system. The system provide a powerful tool for data monitoring and research. And at the same time, the design process reflected a basic method and process for designing device based on computer bus.Firstly, the paper introduces the basic theory for system development, the basic theory of data acquisition technology and PCI bus technology. Then gives the overall design scheme, and gradually refines the program. Focuses on the ADC module, PCI bus interface module, the local bus controller module, the data buffer module, and other logic modules. The paper also detail the device selection, schematic design, and so on. At last, a driver program based on WinDriver is designed. And a top level application based on Visual Basic 6.0 is also realized for data acquisition system. The data acquisition card achieves data acquisition, real-time data processing, and data storage function. |
