As one important index in quality of service(QoS) of wireless sensor network, reliability is the hotspot and difficulty in research. In recent years, with the increasing demand of application such as habits of observation, structural health monitoring, mechanical vibration signal monitoring, reliable transmission of big data in design of wireless sensor network should be solved as soon as possible. To solve reliable transmission of big sampling data, this paper focuses on the wireless sensor network with characteristic of small coverage area and flexible access delay, designs and implements a protocol based on IEEE 802.15.4 standard, which is meaningful to expand applications of wireless sensor network in industry control field.This paper designs the protocol from overall system structure, working principle, interface definitions of subsystems, and views reliability and energy consumption as the main performance indexes, emphatically starting research from congestion control and transmission of redundancy data, and with following results obtained: In physical layer and MAC layer, IEEE 802.15.4, especially retransmission and CSMA/CA mechanism in it, is used to deal with the interference of general environment. After comparing some kinds of scheduling strategies, to solve the problem of competition between nodes, this paper designs one kind of TDMA-based strategy, which has better performance and does not need strict time synchronization. According to the difficulties in the robustness design of scheduling strategy, this paper puts forwards the reasonable exception localization and processing mechanism, solving the problem caused by one abnormal node which would obstruct the scheduling of other normal nodes.According to the application scope of the protocol, this paper implements it in the application of the transmission of mechanical vibration signals: uses the wireless sensor node based on MSP430F2618 and CC2520; through the transplant of TinyOS and design of driver of CC2520, successfully builds the software platform of node; after programming all subsystems, verifies the practicability and validity of the protocol through effective tests.
