Wireless sensor network (WSN) is the mode of information obtaintion and processing, as the rapid development of MEMS, wireless communication network, embedded system. Since WSN has quite vast application foreground, it has been set store by the military, the academes, and the industrial from all over the world .A mass of challengeable investigation work have been carried on engineering and elements. At present, the phase of WSN protocol research is still beginning state.This thesis mainly is the research based on TinyOS in wireless sensor network protocol, which deal with hardware platform construction and how the wireless sensor network protocol makes up. Baseed on WSN is relative application network, this thesis first embeds the trait of WSN and protocol stack, bats around net node's design and truss, works out more perfect net node model. Baseed on the importance of protocol network, this text lucubrates some art fruit of computer research in operation TinyOS in nesC, thereby obtains the art map of implemention ZigBee protocol stack MAC frame in TinyOS.This thesis is divided into 7 chapters altogether; its content are as follows: The first chapter introduces the value of WSN application in engineering, the present situation, the source and the main work of this thesis. The second chapter classifies the networks based on base station, stressly addresses at the trait of mobile Ad Hoc and WSN, lastly discusses wireless communication networks protocol stack, via introducing in common use wireless communication networks. The third chapter mainly deals with the module of WSN node designment. This text takes into account the application trait of WSN, works out more perfect model of WSN net node, bats around every part of net node and introduces the research platforms in home, then brings forward some designment idea of WSN node. The fourth chapter particular introduces ZigBee protocol that may use in WSN, introduces the protocol stack framwork, and then analyses the information exchange paths of data entity and managenment entity. We can comprehensibly get the whole ZigBee protocol via data stream. The fifth chapter emphatically studies how to implement WSN protocol stack in TinyOS with nesc, construes the element of protocol stack. The sixth chapter implements the ZigBee protocol initial MAC frame in TinyOS with nesC by the mean of active message. The last chapter is a summary and forecase of this thesis.
