Design And Implementation Of Vehicle Fuel Consumption Management System Based On Android

Vehicle Fuel Consumption Management as one of the important remote Vehicle Management Services, is capable of providing remote automatic management of the fuel consumption data. At present, Most kinds of system is the hardware system which have disadvantages in high cost and bad experience. There is a chance for system to be intelligent and convenient with android smart phones popularize in our country. Thus, a new Vehicle Fuel Consumption Management System by using android smart phones as a platform to manage the data and image processing algorithms as a method to recognize the data came up in this thesis.In terms of recognizing the number, a frame is used in camera’s preview to acquire the image more accurately. And Multiscare Retinex algorithm is used to handle uneven brightness of the image. Canny algorithm is used to locate the position of the number. Two-dimensional modular PCA and Nearest Neighbor algorithms are used to recognize the number.The system is composed of the mobile client and background management. The functions of mobile platform in this thesis are taking pictures, showing the data, interacting the data and informations with server, locating vehicle’s position and providing more services.The management functions of server and terminal are providing a series of managements.Thus, the whole Vehicle Fuel Consumption Management System can be provided to users and managers.
