Study Of Image Recognition Client System Based On Android

At present, most of the image recognition systems are based on the computer system. Such a system is installed on the fixed device, while users are always fixed and specialized, so cannot meet the needs of mobile users. With ascension of mobile terminal hardware and mature of wireless communication network, mobile terminal image recognition system based on the Android operating system has become a feasible solution, in order to meet the demand of faster and more easily image recognition. Mobile client system is mainly responsible for image acquisition, image recognition, and the information interaction between client and server. To explore the key technology of the image recognition system that based on Android mobile terminal is of great significance.This topic take the image recognition of seawater pearls as an example to explore the key technologies and technical solution design and implementation of the image recognition client system, which based on the Android operating system. The client system is mainly composed of image acquisition module, the preliminary identification module and information interaction module, its main functions include: obtaining recognition image, carrying on the preliminary identification and making information interaction between client and server.This paper mainly discusses the followed several key technologies.(1)The interested-area image acquisition technology.Apply the interested-area image acquisition technology to Android platform through relevant classes that provided by the Android SDK.(2) The preliminary identification technology.By the transplantation of OpenCV, the speed up robust features image matching algorithm is applied to the Android platform as the client system preliminary identification module.(3) Information interaction. Realize reliable communication between client and server through the Http protocol. At the end of the article, we made integrated test on the interface and the various functional modules and discuss the later development of client system.
