The Design And Implementation Of Internet Of Things Gateway

In today’s mobile Internet Era, the concept of Smart home is being mentioned more and more. Smart home can provide people more comfortable, convenient, safe and efficient way of life at home. Internet of things gateway is the core module of Smart home system. The thesis design and implementation a gateway of the Internet of things in Smart home. Through the Internet of things technology, wireless sensor network technology, video monitoring technology, automatic control technology to achieve the function of the center controller in Smart home. The realization of the functions include : basic Internet of things gateway system, doorbell response monitoring system based on dynamic DNS, Intelligent entrance guard system based on the Android. Through the implementation of these systems, to verify the Smart home’s information, networking, automation, intelligent. In this paper, the main works we have completed are shown as follows:(1) Introduced the application scenarios of this thesis, analyzed the functional requirements, and design the overall program of the Internet of things gateway.(2) Based on the overall program of the Internet of things, this thesis firstly realized the basic function of the gateway with two application systems, that is, the environmental monitoring system based on ZigBee and the entrance guard system based on RFID.(3) Based on the basic function modules of the gateway, this thesis designs and implements two services. The first is the doorbell response monitoring system based on dynamic DNS, to monitor the door of the family remotely and real-time.(4) The second is the Intelligent entrance guard system based on the Android, to realize the function of controlling the door lock of family remotely.
