Design And Improvement Of Smart Home System Based On Internet Of Things

The application of Internet of things technology on modern smart home system is becoming more and more mature. Compared with the existing smart home system, network access is limited to the local area network. We designed and improved the smart home system based on internet of things. Viewing from the point of smart home system demand, this article introduced customizing system functional module, the choosing and designing of networked control system, customing and developing of hardware and software based on the demand of function and analysising of system implementation respectively, and focuses on introducing network control system of smart home, intelligent gateway architecture,technology of database accession using in man-machine interaction and the application of audio and video processing, attaching great importance on the intelligent gateway access security. Last but not least, through the systems integration testing and analyzing, this system meet people’s needs of modern smart home system on ease of use, availability and convenience.The main work of this article:1. The construction of whole hardware platform on smart home system: Based on the function demand of smart home system about security monitoring, home appliance control, lighting control, remote energy paid, remote network control and intelligent voice control, customize each sensor unit, laid of Internet network and and install home network control platform. 2. The choice for framework of home network control system:Through comparing advantages and disadvantages all kind of control system frameworks, we select the optimal system control frameworks.3. The realization of intelligent speech recognition:Using the Microsoft speech recognition development kit researched SDK5.1, We choosed command recognition mode, customed limited voice commands in recognition dictionary, in order to achieving high accuracy of speech recognition.4. Introduce the realization of the remote video monitor:Using JPEG coding, transfers video frames from system server to client by the form of stream. System Users could monitor home state in time. At the same time, for a fixed camera with the help of background mask algorithm, provided reliable and accurate intrusion detection auxiliarily for this system.5. The choice of communication mechanism beteween each function module communicating and embedded microcontroller processor, the process design on the communication of them.6. The design and realization of household system network access:contrast with the former of this system,we improved on user authentication, home state feedback and home network access security.7. We had test analysis on system runs, summed up the current system advantages and disadvantages, and presented improvement plan of the system.
