Today’s society is more and more dependent on the role of communication, satellite communications is a unique way of communication because of wide range, large capacity and high flexibility. What is more important, the mobile communication technology of satellite can be used in the mobile carrier. In this paper, the author mainly discusses the knowledge and experience acquired by the development process of the project.First,this paper introduces the background knowledge and the basic principle of the satellite communication system, and proposes the design goal of the Ship-Borne Mobile Communicat io n Earth Station.Then this paper talk about the user flow and user interface. Whats more, author derives the formula of theoretical position and search algorithm and use computer to relize relevant algorithms. By using the hardware information of the keyboard, screen and beacon,author achieve the relevant hardware drivers. At last,the team carry out unit testing of each hardware unit to ensure the whole syetem is good-working.At present, this Ship-Borne "Mobile Communication" system has been measured on threedimensional motion simulator. And the result meets all design requirements. Our next job is to install the system on ship for the further testing If testing result is still good, our product is ready for massproduce in society.
