Nowadays,there are still amount of blind areas for maritime communications in China.So theShip-borne Satellite Communication Earth Station is significance for marine communications.Itprovides many kinds of communication services to fulfill people's urgent need.The Earth Station isquite complicated,there are antenna system,tracking system,transmit system,receive system andterminal interface equipment,control system,in which control system is the critical one for thewhole part.It provides functions of control,management,monitor and alarm,and achieves thefunction of communication system at large and improves the availability of the EarthStation.Generally,the control system consists of control unit,monitoring unit and the correspondingsoftware system.The control system designed in this paper is based on functional analysis ofShip-borne satellite communication earth stations.This paper proposes one overall design scheme for Control System in the Ship-borne SatelliteCommunication Earth Station by gaining further insight into the working principle of controlsystem. Then it proposes details of software design,program,design process and block diagram,andthen develops software system on the Keil uvision3 platform by using C language.Also,the papergives the design of hardware modules.In the process of design for control system, the paper proposes solutions for the problems ofsoftware & hardware design,controller with keyboard,and communication protocols etc.Also thecontrol system implements the functions of manual and automatic tracking, acquiring anddisplaying the parameters and status information of slave-computer,giving warning when the devicemalfunctions.Finally,the control system has successfully passed the test.
