On The Cellphone Function Of Civic And Moral Education

Recently, cellphone enjoys a rapid development space due to its advantage, extending to every aspects of the work, study and life, becoming the inevitable and irresistible media to getting and spreading the information of the daily life, and impacting on moral concepts and value judgments of people. As a supporter for the moral education of the citizens, cellphone possesses the education function and plays an important role in the moral atmosphere of citizen. Of course, improper guidance of mass media is also easy to eliminate the transmission mainstream information, the citizen moral education plays a negative role. Therefore, the function of moral education of mass media, not only conducive to the cultivation of citizen consciousness, improving social atmosphere; but also can play an active role in citizen and moral education as the mass media better, provide an important theoretical basis for eliminating the bad influence.This paper conducts an analysis of the function of citizen moral education based on the cellpho ne. And it mainly describes the definition of cellphone media via theories from the perspective of c ommunications. The structure of citizens’ moral education activities through cellphone media is an alyzed. By case studies, the negative and positive effects of cellphone media are summarized. And some problems encountered by cellphone media to fulfill the functions of citizens’ moral education. At last, in order to better realize such functions, this paper has provided corresponding strategies f rom angles of transmitters, contents, communication media.
