The development of computer technology and progress of electric system lead to the emergence of various electrical applications. A single system can be run to solve some specific problems. However, the data within the single system can’t meet its own analysis requirements, which generates weakly convincing analysis results and difficult decision-making. Therefore, the requirement of information fusion for multiple systems is increasingly desperate. In face of the insufficient amount of information in a single system, people proposed multiple-system information fusion. Data interaction and association will frequently appear during the information fusing. However, due to the lack of uniform standards, data format becomes one of the problems which should be solved at first.IEC61970 standard was put forward for the heterogeneous system integration and information interaction as a unified standard. Two main components of IEC61970 are the common information model (CIM) and component interface specification (CIS), which reliably assures the data exchange among different systems. CIM, a universal data model, depicts all kinds of electrical data resources and the relations among them such that establishes the foundation for data interaction. SCADA data records the detail parameters of all components in the system under a particular time section. Those parameters present the real-time status of the power grid. This paper will present my research on data fusion with CIM and SCADA.This paper starts from researching the IEC61970 series of standard.And we get CIM model and SCADA data, analyze them and pretreat them according the formats described by IEC61970.Then we build a fusion model and raise a fusion solution after researching these two kinds of data from multi-system.Firstly,we combine these two kinds of data and provide users with data retrieval, display;In the next place, we try to fuse information by designing and realizing the power grid searching algorithm and topology analysis algorithm.The topology analysis result is provided to other advanced application of power system for decision-making.Lastly,the successful application in the areas of voltage sag analysis system verifies the feasibility and correctness of the algorithm and model.
