The Master’s Thesis based on industrial water consumption of iron and steel industry, analyzed the key factors influencing the water consumption of iron and steel industry, which can be summarized into three parts in this thesis.In the first part, national steel production was clustered. Based on the national industrial water consumption, iron and steel production value in 2013, we used the method of cluster analysis, the country’s development of iron and production was divided into five categories.In the second part, the prediction of water consumption of iron and steel industry in Hebei province was involved. By adopting the method of grey system theory, we forecasted water consumption of iron and steel industry in Hebei province. Results showed that the water consumption in iron and steel industry in Hebei province in 2015 will be more than 700 millionm3, indicated "a dominant" steel situation is not resolved.In the third part, analyzed from the macroscopic angle of the key factors influencing the water consumption of the steel industry in Hebei province. Based on order of water consumption, gross industrial output value, displacement and other two series of the 98 iron and steel enterprises in Hebei province in 2013, used the algorithms of data mining, association rules Apriori algorithm, using r-project to realize the algorithm. The results show that, it is truth industrial output low consume less water, high gross value of industrial output consumes more water. Low high gross value of industrial output use less water of iron and steel enterprise internal water saving measures are worth using for reference. Industrial output low consume more water of iron and steel enterprise internal water withdrawal technology need to be improved.In the forth part, analyzed from microcosmic angle of the key factors which influence the water consumption of the steel industry in Hebei province. Firstly, selected a certain iron and steel enterprises in Hebei province and carried it on the water balance test and assessment of water by two indicators of water reuse rate and per ton steel. The results meet the related specifications of technology assessment evaluation index. Secondly, on the basis of water balance test data, also used Apriori association rules algorithm in the r-project implementation, in the iron and steel enterprises from the Angle of the micro water balance test in the analysis of 15 units in the use of water. Results show that each production process has different influence factors of new water. Iron and steel enterprise should accord to different production factors, which affect the new water take corresponding countermeasures, to improve water-saving measures. Ultimately achieve the goal of reducing water use in iron and steel enterprise.
