Design And Realization Of Iron And Steel Enterprise's Sale Management Information System

Computer science has become more and more important in modern society, whatever for personal application or enterprise application. The applications of various MIS which centered on data business and network have significantly propelled the development and management of enterprise. At this time when there has been an increasingly fierce competition in both domestic and foreign markets, the iron and steel enterprise's modernization and IT application has become its new increments and breakthrough points of profit. To meet the need of market economy, enterprise has to transform their operation pattern, which will lead the enterprises gradually stride towards the objective of information.The thesis combined with the status quo of iron and steel Enterprise's information and analyzed the actual business requirements. Then, we presented a system scheme of Sale-MIS based on three-tier architecture. According to the pertinent technology of three-tier software model, we proposed the favorable general layout and architecture of Sale-MIS. It abstracted the general requirements of system on the basis of enterprise's current business situation. The paper elaborated the design of architecture, function, back-end database and other technologies. In system development, we took inventory management subsystem as an example and discussed from the layer of the database design, business logic and user interface. In the end, we summarized the emphasis and difficult points during the development of system.The system is now successfully applied in an iron and steel Enterprise in Hubei province. The system works stable and feedbacks well from the user. The whole process of information management from ordering to capital withdrawal is realized in Sale-MIS which built a customized information platform and efficiently improved the problem of the business process. The up-to-date management thoughts, theories and methods were introduced into the enterprise, which optimized the management system and workflow as well as built the modern management institution to satisfy the new information system. Management efficiency and data sharing was enhanced with practical value. Meanwhile, the system design scheme can be taken as a reference and industry solution for other iron and steel company.
