The Design And Implementation Of Subject Information Aggregation Service Platform

With the popularity of Internet technology, the digitization and abundance of information resources, and the developments of human information behaviors, the information environment where people stay has changed greatly. As the numerous information on the Internet have satisfied people’s demand of obtaining information, the "information overload", the redundant and irrelevant information are interfering people’s choosing the information they really need to a great extent. For the university library, the traditional information service pattern is not enough to meet users’ information needs any more. To solve this problem, it must strengthen the ability of providing subject information, produce the innovation of subject information service pattern, and provide more comprehensive discipline information and convenient, professional and specialized services for college students and teachers.In fact, the university library’s practices on the construction of subject information gateway, subject librarian system and the open access institutional repository are becoming increasingly mature. With these practices, It should promote the construction of subject information service, and provide users with the service that they can acquire, organize, search, storage and transmit information resources on the basis of subject, major and project, providing "one-stop" personalized subject information service. In this paper, the author carried out research and practical exploration on this problem, and finally designed and implemented a university library subject information aggregation and service platform.On the basis of project practice, the paper made a detailed discussion about the meaning and goal of constructing university library subject information aggregation and service platform. It made detailed introduction about the key technologies used in the process of construction of the platform, designed the entire process and framework of this system, and also made detailed planning and research on each function module and the backstage database structure of the system. The realization process of the basic functions of system background, the selection of resources and acquisition process, the cleaning process of the resources and the realization of data storage and organization were elaborated. This article put that providing users with the specialized discipline information service as the breakthrough point, and made some practice research in the discipline information aggregation and the discipline information service aspect.
