| CHINA SPORT SCIENCE was founded in 1981, is not only the core journal of Chinese sports journals, the core journal of Chinese humanities and social science the core journal of international sports literature database, but also the Chinese sports academic highest impact factor journals.Citation analysis, as an important means of information metrology research, has been widely used in many aspects of the evaluation papers, journal evaluation, scientific evaluation, discipline and research performance evaluation and other fields. Experts think each citation is equivalent to the value, so that the literature citations and academic quality was absolutely positive correlation between the citations, the higher the citations,the higher the quality of the literature, the lower the citations, the lower the quality of the literature. However, due to the roughness of citation data, the evaluation function of citation data has been challenged. Based on this, I am trying to use CHINA SPORT SCIENCE highly cited papers(2001-2010) as examples to reveal the relations between academic quality and citation data of CHINA SPORT SCIENCE(2001-2010). Based on this, I chose the CHINA SPORT SCIENCE highly cited papers(≥30 times) as an specific example, 1.with key words of CHINA SPORT SCIENCE highly cited papers,do some comprehensive and systematic analysis. 2 by way of empirical, reveal the relations between academic quality and citation data of CHINA SPORT SCIENCE(2001-2010). 3 reveal roughness and unrecognized phenomenon in citation data.Through the study,I found:(1) From the point of keyword,CHINA SPORT SCIENCE still pay much attention on traditional research area..(2) CHINA SPORT SCIENCE highly cited papers focus on the theme of mass sports and traditional sports.(3) CHINA SPORT SCIENCE theme of these highly cited papers capable of meeting the advancing research needs of the times and the development of the industry.(4) Papers of CHINA SPORT SCIENCE no longer just involve a single discipline or a single field, cross-disciplinary and cross-cutting papers gradually increased.(5) Inside CHINA SPORT SCIENCE, these highly cited papers, research related topics are getting together and getting herd phenomenon.which is not good.(6) Overall, academic quality of CHINA SPORT SCIENCE(2001-2010) highly cited papers of is quite high.(7) CHINA SPORT SCIENCE lack of academic innovation. we need more critical articles and debate articles in CHINA SPORT SCIENCE.(8) Citation data and academic quality was not absolutely positive correlation.(9) Citation data of CHINA SPORT SCIENCE highly cited papers are rough.By the conclusion,(1) When we use citation data for academic evaluation, it shall adhere to the principle of quantitative and qualitative.(2) In order to make better use of citation data to facilitate the spread of sports academic achievement, citation irregularities should be further strengthened.(3) Sports Academic studies are needed to broaden the scope of the study, the angle of the study, increasing critical articles and debate articles.(4) Bring behavior data into reference database. |
